Outputs a list of the words in a text you paste in, along with their frequencies.


jumbler

Outputs jumbled sentences.


wordsearch maker

Enter a list of words and convert to a wordsearch grid.


crossword maker

Enter words and definitions and print a crossword from your browser.


cobuild concordancer

The original collins corpus concordancer!
Overides IALF server settings that block pop-up windows.


teacher concordancer

Like cobuild but using a text you paste in as the corpus.
The central word is still a bit wonkey - I'm working on getting it straight.


storybard

Implementation of the classic Storyboard created with javascript (features a BBC twit droning on pessimistically about Indonesia). This one features a panoramic image as advance organiser.


hangperson

The politically correct version! hangperson currently features academic vocabulary. If they can guess at least five words in succession students then produce a text using the words they have guessed and to send this to a teacher for comment.


LookItUp©

LookItUp is a dictionary game designed to focus EAP students' attention on commonly occuring academic vocabulary taken from Averil Coxhead's corpus of academic English.
